Inborn Pair to extend 4 episodes?

So far, I have not read any report that can confirm this news except Wikipedia. But it seems there is a high possibility that Inborn Pair will end with 84 episodes instead of the 80 that Director Feng Kai strongly insisted before. The follow-up series Set Chocolate is also scheduled to air on 10 April. Not that I’m complaining; I will never ever get tired of seeing the simple-minded Wei Xiang and sparky Yi Jie. In fact, I would very much love to see a panicky Wei Xiang and a very calm Yi Jie in the labor room giving birth to their first child. Just imaging the scene, is hilarious. Our slow and dorky couple, Chris Wang and Annie Chen attended a farewell party for Inborn Pair, where they also meet up with the leads of Set Chocolate, Vanness Wu  and Joanna Zeng.

So far, I’m enjoying the platonic relationship between Yu Jie and Le Di so much in I Love You So Much; Yu Jie being the helpless elder brother who always gives in to his adoring baby sister and Le Di being the clueless sister who thinks Yu Jie is gay. But at the same time, I wish this misunderstanding of Yu Jie is a gay can be resolved soon, the scriptwriters can’t drag this plot forever. Furthermore, the kiss that Yu Jie stole in the mountain. Gosh, our dear Yu Jie is slowly falling in love with Le Di! So Episode 8 ended with our female protagonist happily anticipating her first ever confession to Shao Feng. With the help of Boss Yu Jie, nothing can possibly go wrong. Can it?

This picture cracks me up, totally! The expression on Lan Zheng Long‘s face… is EPIC. He looks mighty scared of the zombies. Can you believe it? He is supposed to be the the MAN of all men yet he is hiding behind the petite Li Jia Ying now. This makes me laugh so hard. This zombie scene is going to show in tonight’s episode. Yu Jie is helping Le Di to find a place appropriate to make her confession for Shao Feng. Apparently, they went a little too far (laugh out loud).

I Love You So Much, I love you so so so much! How can this drama be so cute? You must understand my excitement because I watched this drama with zero expectation and later grow to love it. Why must it end with 13 episodes? *pout* ILYSM premiered with an average of 0.84 but later dipped to the lowest because of Office Girls and Love Forward. I had watched the first episode of Love Forward, let me just say that drama didn’t interest me like this.

Another drama to look out for this April! Set Chocolate, starring Vanness Wu and Joanne Zeng will be taking over Inborn Pair, which has another 15 more episodes in its run. So far, full details on the drama have yet been released. But from what I heard, Vanness will be a successor of an enterprise but he left the family to realize his dream of opening a chocolate store. Joanne is someone who spent her days slogging and taking up part time work. One day, she ends up working for Vanness and above all, she has to dress herself as a man for the job. Hmm, sounds Coffee Prince-ish? Anyway, a trailer had been released yesterday. It’s oozing of sex appeal with the music and footage selected. Yum, chocolate, anyone?

According to AGB Nielsen Media Research, Inborn Pair attained a high rating of 2.94 on 19th of last month, crowning SETTV among other TV broadcast stations, even the repeats at a later time slot also gathered 1.34. Annie Chen has been receiving a lot of love from TV and online viewers (including me!) for portraying the righteous and adorable Yi Jie. Whenever she arrives in the family resort, people call out her character name. I suppose Yi Jie’s charms really come from her honest and direct personality, which makes everyone to like her character easily. Furthermore, (I know I had mentioned this once, I want to say again) the onscreen chemistry between Annie and Chris Wang is explosive!

Upcoming Kdrama: Dream High 2 with 4 minute Trailer

Okay, this January, the only kdrama I’m interested in catching is Dream High 2. After watching the 4-minute trailer, I’m even more excited about 30th Jan. First, the drama boasts a cast of my favourite girls, Kang So Ra and Ji Yeon (T-ara), and Jin Woon (2AM), Hyo Rin (Sistar) have pretty singing talent and powerful vocals. Also, her goofy and sparky participation in Running Man few weeks back left an impression on me. The other two guys, I have neither heard nor seen them before. So I shall reserve my opinion on them.

Despite the amount of school work that is piling, I feel so obliged to write this Taiwanese drama I’ve been watching Monday-Friday diligently and gotten very obsessed with. I started off with zero expectation, first it has a scary number of 80 episodes and second, the name kind of turns me off. Inborn Pair? Why couldn’t the production team think of a better name, if not use back their previous title: True Love. Or Asking for Trouble? Oh well, quit complaining. Thankfully, I didn’t give the drama a miss because of its ridiculous name.. It is so good, funny and contains lots of cute moments and spazzing chemistry between two main leads, Chris Wang and Annie Chen.

Tomorrow, we shall find out if You Qing accepts Da Ren. I’m quite certain that You Qing will choose Da Ren, her one best friend. It seems there will be a lot of tears and remorse in the final episode; my heart goes out for the devastated You Qing, who is torn apart by Da Ren’s love and Li Wei’s betrayal. While I think it’s ridiculous to make Li Wei the two-timer bastard again before the big wedding, it seems to be the only way to let You Qing annul the marriage and to return Da Ren’s side without feeling any pang of guilt.

What a teary episode of In Time With You for me. Like Maggie, some of you might think You Qing is selfish and indecisive. I think she was more of struck by the confession (that Da Ren loves her) and did not know what to do. Both Da Ren and Li Wei are the dearest people to You Qing. She cannot bear the thought of hurting or losing any one of them so she chooses to conceal her feelings instead of confronting them like her usual way. Love shows her weak side, like any woman does. So she would rather be an ostrich than to harm her loved ones. Despite her strong personality at home and work, You Qing is still a simple and delicate woman. She just wants a man who loves and cherishes her for who she is. Hence I can only remark You Qing must have done very good deed in her former life to have two very handsome and nice men to fall all over heels for her. Ah I’m so jealous.
